Raised in the woods of Vermont, now writing songs from a New York City apartment, Jojo Powers is a singer-songwriter blending raw honesty with cinematic storytelling.

Her debut EP, Texts I never sent (2020), stitched heartbreak and hindsight into a storyline told entirely through the song titles — a concept project that felt like reading someone's unsent messages. She worked with Berklee graduate Producer Thomas Gaumer and William Austin Clay.

Since then her music has been featured on Vermont public radio and performed around the new York city underground scene.

She is currently working on her first record, reflecting on her roots, challenging family dynamics and how ones life fits into this world.
